SNKRFRKR X PUMA BUNYIP LAUNCH

Sneaker Freaker was back in effect hard this past Saturday with the highly anticipated release of their Puma collaboration. Having been fortunate enough to witness the design process when Woody started working on his ‘Bunyip’ three years ago it was astounding to see the super suede finished product. I remember the ups and downs of Woody and James creating this beast well, so it was awesome to finally be able to celebrate the release. With crepe soles that can creep silently into any room, the Bunyip is a mix of butter brown suedes and baby soft leathers. You have to see them up close to appreciate all the details the team has put into this one shoe. Saturday night we partied hard in the midst of Carbon celebrations. Carlton Club’s upstairs party space was alive and kicking with taxidermy elephants and wild life plus mossy booths and leopard print walls. What a perfect venue to launch such a beastly shoe.
