ANOTHER BIG WEEKEND!

Thinking of what to do this weekend? I got you covered with a truckload of killer gigs that will have your ears orgasming all night long. First up you can hit the lanes at STRIKE BOWLING QV every Thurs and Fri for not only booze and bowling, but 2 hours of non-stop party bangers thanks to yours truly! Next up it’s my regular Friday night residency at the crazy dope TRILL (Marrakech Bar in Bank Place, Melb CBD). Offering two rooms of Urban jams and Trilly drop it low anthems, this is the place to get your leopard print snapback vibe on!

Once a month I visit the South Melbourne’s FABRIQUE bar to crank out an hour of non-stop commercial HIP HOP/RNB slangers in amongst the usual house music vibe. Packed from the windows to the walls each week, you’re guarrenteed to sweat from ya balls. Tomorrow night it’s back to my Saturday signature ressy at WE ARE VINTAGE which has grown into a massive block party each and every week, taking over Hawthorn’s huge ROOM venue. Nothing but quality tunes by some of Melbourne’s finest RNB DJs. I’ll be back this week from 11-12, so get in early!

Last but definitely not least, I’ll be closing the night at LAUNDRY BAR for the highly anticipated 100s SHOW. This guy knows how to spit! Make sure you get down to the 100s only Melbourne Show this Sat night – oh and it’s FREE!!!!

MASTERCHEF SERIES 5

Get ya spatulas ready! I’m about to bring the FLAVA IN YA EAR for this year’s CH 10 MASTERCHEF SERIES 5 Launch going down at a secret location at the end of May. With filming moved this year from Sydney to Melbourne, I was fortunate enough to score this tasty gig thanks to my work spinning at the Ch Logies for the last three years plus The Offspring Cast Party 2011 and the Ch 10 Program Launch 2012 in Sydney. Racking up my frequent flyers with the Ch 10 crew, I’m super super stoked to be invited to spin the series launch of a brand new look MasterChef with the new and improved Melbourne flavour. While my skills lay in mega decker jam sandwiches (pic courtesy of the incredible snap sista and may I add super talented cook Marija Ivkovic of Rokeby Studios) and pancake stacks, I look forward to seeing what delicious treats are on offer at this shebang! Woah! What a night! The CHANNEL 10 LOGIES AFTER PARTY was TURNT UP once again with a pumpin DFloor from beginning to end. Going strong into my third year of DJng this prestigious event, the 2013 edition was by far the swankiest complete with the DOPEST confectionary bar courtesy of the rad cats at THE INSPIRED OCCASION. Who could go past dem Masterchef Macaroons or Harold’s Cupcakes. I waited til the end of the night to sample one of everything! If you’re looking for desserts at your do, def hit up the delectable INSPIRED OCCASION peeps. They know their sweets! And talk about drank! With Bondi Sunrise, Puberty Blueberry and Murdepoliton cocktails on the menu, everyone was bound to get LOOSE! And loose we got. Four straight hours of nothing but the cheesiest pop, rock and Macarena. Big love to my booking agent BEN for being my handsome date! Last month one of my all-time favourite Canadians, RUSSELL PETERS hit our shores for a stack of sold out stadium shows down under, bringing along his entourage of warm up comic, bouncers plus of course his trusty DJs SPINBAD and STARTING FROM SCRATCH. I had the pleasure of playing with the trio two years before, for the official Russell Peters Afterparty, so was stoked to catch the fellas again doin’ their thang thang. My only regret is I didn’t get to make it to RUSSELL’S SOLD OUT show! To top off the ridiculous night, RUSSELL graced me with one of the SICKEST Mixtape DROPS you’ll ever hear! You cannot buy this kinda publicity haha!
